I'm all for "separate the art from the artist!!" but that doesn't work if they're alive yknow? Especially when they are actively funding anti-trans organizations and harming trans people. You cannot support the lgbtqia+ community and continue to watch the Harry Potter movies and/or the new show, play Hogwarts legacy or any other Harry Potter related game or do anything that gives JKR profit. By giving her profit you are supporting her funding of anti-trans organizations and more.
“The New Yorker is boring” – Ilya Rozanov (2014)
you guys know there's nothing wrong with making art about sex, right? like, sex is a completely natural behavior that the vast majority of human beings participate in, why would we NOT make art about it? the only reason we think it's less profound than any other human experience is because we were taught that shame, i thought we'd covered this already
Really? I was made fun of in 2019
B is currently in the living room with all the big lights on reading a book about finance whilst listening to something sports-y on TV.
Meanwhile, I am in the library with low shelf lighting and a starry night projector running, wearing noise-cancelling headphones and reading a book about rival wizards reluctantly falling in love with each other.
Sometimes the fact that we married each other is just really funny to me.
One of my favorite Destiel moments is definitely when Dean stares dreamily into the distance and calls Cas a "weird, dorky, little guy."
